Greetings of Love to each of you! The Jubilee is a time for a new beginning, rooted in God's Kingdom. Hope emerges when people recognize the presence of those who live differently. The Jubilee is an opportunity to be renewed in hope. God's word helps us find reasons for hope. Love can be expressed in kindness, which opens hearts to acceptance and helps us to become more humble. Humility lends itself to dialogue, helps us to overcome misunderstandings, and generates gratitude.

Pope Francis officially declared 2025 a Year of Jubilee with a papal bull, titled “Spes Non Confudit,” meaning “Hope Does Not Disappoint.” The Jubilee Year will begin with the opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica on Christmas Eve 2024. “During the Holy Year, may the light of Christian hope illumine every man and woman, as a message of God’s love addressed to all!” said Pope Francis. “And may the Church bear faithful witness to this message in every part of the world!”

For us as religious accompany the faithful to regain the lost Hope and give everyone the gift of Jesus – Hope. May the Holy spirit empower all of us to be a beacon of hope and a light to all those who are under our care. We sisters of St. Charles give our selfless service to help anyone who is in need.
